The 84th winner of the 2000 Guineas, held on Wednesday 4th May 1892 over the Rowley Mile, was Bona Vista (10/1), a chestnut colt by Bend Or out of Vista, owned by Mr C D Rose. The winner won by 1 1/2 lengths in 1 minute 54 secs, with 1/2 a length back to the third. A field of 14 runners contested the race which was worth £4,400 (Equivalent to £514,800 in 2017)
